Kulzer Charisma Universal Light Curing Microglass Composite
Product Description:
Heraeus Charisma/Charisma resin
Charisma is a small particle mixed filler type anterior and posterior composite resin which can be extremely highly polished thanks to its ideally sized glass filler. It is a filling material that can be used in conjunction with adhesives.
The Main Purpose:
1. Front teeth veneer restoration
2. Class V hole repair
3. Posterior cavity filling and inlay restoration, etc.
Operation Process:
It is recommended to clean the teeth with a fluoride-free polishing paste before treatment. Use a shade guide while the tooth is wet. Plastic or similar filling instruments should be used.
1 Prepare the cavity according to the requirements of resin filling, and then clean and dry the cavity. Key points: Pay attention to keep the work area dry, it is recommended to use a rubber dam.
2. Multi-sided holes need to use transparent molding sheets.
3. Use the matching adhesive system to avoid saliva contamination before filling.
4. Fill the cavity with Charisma in layers (the last 2 mm of each layer). If the tooth has been severely discolored, an opaque dentin resin substrate is required.
5. There is often an opaque dentin layer in the anterior tooth cavity, Charisma opaque dentin resin is especially suitable for this.
6. The thickness of the material for one-time filling should not exceed 2 mm. Each layer needs to be cured by light separately: due to the oxidation in the air, there is a layer of fluorine-inhibited diffuse layer on the surface of each layer of resin after curing, which is different from the next layer of resin. Bonded base so cannot be touched or soiled. Light cure with a light curing lamp (eg Translux) for 20 seconds, the curing depth adapted to 2mm. For dark or color-blocking resins, the light time test is extended to 40 seconds. Recommended thickness for curing resin with Translux curing light.

OA2,OA3,OA3.5,OB2 | 40 | 2.0 |
7. It can be processed and polished immediately after polymerization. The restoration can be shaped with a diamond turning pin and polished with a polishing strip.Materials that are not fully cured can lead to postoperative pulpal irritation, staining of the filling, dislodgement or physical properties. During the operation To avoid premature curing of the material, the surgical light should be removed from the working area during the operation.
